Dzogchen Buddha Path Winter Teaching Program
The Dzogchen Shri Singha Foundation is pleased to announce our annual Dzogchen Buddha Path Winter Teaching Program, modified as an at-home program. The Winter Internet Teaching Program will be taught by Bodhi Lama Orgyen Zangpo (Lama Kunzang) under the guidance of His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche. This five-day program will be held online via Zoom, and presents an ideal opportunity to deepen your understanding and experience of the teachings of the Dzogchen Lineage and practice the Dzogchen Buddha Path.
We are currently reinventing our program in a powerful way in order to harness the accumulation power of group practice and bring us together virtually and remotely in order to practice Dharma together. We are excited for the opportunity to continue to develop a model for distance learning, contemplation and meditation that will serve us for decades to come!
The 2020 Winter Internet Teaching Program will commence on Wednesday December 30, 2020, 6:00 pm PST and conclude on Sunday, January 3 2020, 5:00 pm PST. This year’s five days of teaching and training will include in-depth and direct teachings on the sacred text The Buddha Path, the Buddhist fundamentals, and will include many practices such as reciting sacred texts, mantra recitations, personal thuns (practice sessions), etc.
Please register here.

The Dzogchen Shri Singha Foundation has just created an app to practice The Buddha Path on your cellphone or tablet! This app provides invaluable resources to aid Dharma practitioners in their learning, contemplation, and meditation on the essence of Buddha Shakyamuni’s entire teachings.

How to Prevent Fear and Protect Ourselves: 100% Cautious 0% Fear
Our compassionate teacher, H.E. Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche, has taken steps to help Sangha around the world to care for themselves and others during this time of worldwide spread of COVID-19:
“At this time, many people around the world have fear and suffering because of the novel coronavirus. During this time, it is very good to pray and practice Dharma more. As said by the Buddha, during earthquakes, natural disasters, war, epidemics, or famine, those who practice Dharma and help others create immeasurable merit that will benefit oneself and all beings.
“The fundamental characteristic of the minds of beings is hope and fear. All beings always hope for happiness and fear suffering. Now there is a new disease spreading and everyone is afraid. Sentient beings already have fear. Now they have more fear than usual. We must manage and reduce our fear and worry, focus on solutions, and take refuge in Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha more than ever. Do not fixate on fear or worry, or overreact to the situation.”
