Generosity Opportunity

Meditation Cushion Sets for The Dzogchen Retreat Center

The Dzogchen Retreat Center, located in central Oregon, is a place where students of Tibetan Buddhism train to improve their lives, become authorized dharma teachers, and ultimately become enlightened beings through the extraordinary Dharma system of the Dzogchen Lineage, thus bringing benefit to this world and all beings. The ‘Vajrasana’ is a traditional meditation seat that is an important condition for these goals, since students spend several hours each day in formal meditation on their cushions.

One set, including mat and cushion, is produced specifically for this purpose, and costs approximately $100 USD. The Salt Lake City Dzogchen Sangha has pledged to sponsor 30 sets, so our goal is to raise $3,000 USD. Please join this generosity opportunity and create great merit! It is said that anyone who sponsors a virtuous activity such as a meditation retreat gathers equal merit as the practitioner, so your contribution will generate lasting benefit to yourself and others. Even a small contribution of a few dollars is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We are getting close to our goal: only $780 left to go before December 31st. Please help us meet our goal and create beautiful merit!
